If you aren’t the groom, it might be a little difficult to decide what to wear to a wedding. The groom has it easy, right? The bride will pick out his outfit! For the attendee, it’s a little bit trickier. Take a look at these ideas when it’s time to dress for your next wedding event.
1. Formal. If it’s a formal wedding, you’ll be safe in a tuxedo or nice suit. Go for basic black to keep classy. You could even wear a regular suit and a tie and still fit in well.
2. Casual. For a casual wedding, feel free to ditch the suit and the tie. Casual pants and a collared shirt will be just fine in a casual setting. Remember to iron, however, and keep a nice crease in your pants and your shirt sleeves.
3. Beach. For a beach wedding, you can get even more casual. Here, linen pants would be totally appropriate. Since you’ll be on the beach, you may even wear sandals but leave the flip flops at home.
4. Destination. If you’ve been invited to a destination wedding, match your attire to the setting. If the destination is the beach, go casual. If the destination wedding is in a far off land, but in a church, you’ll want a shirt and a tie.
Dressing for a wedding can be tricky, but it’s not impossible to get the right outfit. Keep these tips in mind and you’ll be the best dressed guy at the wedding.
